Catherine Broderick
Catherine joined the Wescott office in Laconia, New Hampshire in October 2006 after graduating from Suffolk University Law School. She earned her BA in English and History, summa cum laude, from Northeastern University in 1994. Catherine is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of New Hampshire, the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of New Hampshire.
Catherine lives in her ancestral home in Center Sandwich and currently serves her town as the Chairman of the Sandwich Zoning Board of Adjustment. Prior to practicing law, Catherine had a variety of professional experiences including working as a diamond buyer, a research librarian, grant writing for educational non profits, producing promotional films for the City of Boston, owning and operating a successful bed and breakfast, and over a decade of service with Great American Dining helping to grow the Common Man Family of Restaurants. She is an avid and accomplished gardener, with heirloom gardens in Sandwich displayed for local fund raising tours.
Catherine maintains a general civil practice. Her advocacy work includes bankruptcy filings on behalf of individual and business debtors and creditors, land use and zoning matters, civil litigation and trials, real estate and contract disputes. She also assists clients with wills, trusts, and probate estates.
Catherine is a member of the American Bar Association, the Belknap County and New Hampshire Bar Associations, the New Hampshire Association for Justice and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Catherine serves as Belknap County Governor for the New Hampshire Bar Association. In addition, she was the recipient of the 2009 Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award for Belknap County.
