A word from Lori about her family law practice:
Welcome.
Dealing with family matters and divorce may be one of the most difficult emotional roller coasters that you and your family will have to endure. You may be apprehensive and uncertain about your financial future. You may experience fear and distrust of the Court process itself. You may feel trapped in a situation because you do not have the money to hire a lawyer.
As a family lawyer, I am dedicated to helping you through your unique legal situation and I am committed to representation that provides you with the greatest dignity and respect that you deserve. I am also willing to work with you on flexible financing plans. The family matter practice areas I can assist you in include:
Divorce
Parenting rights and responsibilities,
Child support,
Spousal support;
Post divorce matters,
Adoptions,
Grandparent visitation rights;
Guardianships; and
Domestic violence issues
I strongly believe that out of court settlements are the best solutions for everyone involved in family matters. It is better to decide your own fate rather than have the Court decide it for you. I encourage my clients to develop strategies on how to prepare for their future after divorce, and I discourage battles that merely arise out of anger aimed at the opposing party. After all, no one needs additional heartache and unnecessary litigation bills. However, there are times when litigation is necessary and I am not afraid to go to Court and advocate for your best interests.
One of the most important jobs I have as a family attorney is to avoid creating unrealistic expectations about case outcomes. I believe in providing a realistic, solution-based approach to each one of my clients based on their unique family matter as this is truly the only way to plan for survival in the future.
